Where stars land

I heard her heart skipped a beat today,

the universe changed its way,

he said he was coming,

but he actually ran away.

She waited for a while-

under the sparkling sky,

"if it was in the name of love",

it was worth the while.

But love never came,

he actually ran away.

What they both didn't get

is that we can't go where stars land.
